The Furano valley has world class backcountry in abundance, including the Daisetsuzan national park, which has some of the best backcountry and touring in Hokkaido. Located just 45 minutes from Yukari Cabins, this range of volcanoes has something to offer every level of backcountry skier and snowboarder. The possibilities are endless!
Tour among smoking, volcanic fumeroles, ride beautiful forests or steep alpine lines in untracked, dry powder snow from December until April.

What better way to soothe tired muscles after a days skiing or snowboarding than a soak in an onsen. There are even wild (i.e. free) onsens to be found up in the Tokachi-range just a 45 minute drive from Furano. The following facilities are available within a short drive of Yukari Cabins.
